The Artist

Lindsay is a mixed media artist who primarily uses acrylic paint. She has been painting for over 14 years and loves to share her creative process with her audience. Lindsay's love for art started at a very young age. As a young Mexican American trying to find her voice, one thing always remained the same "Echale ganas". A saying she heard quite frequently. Always put your best foot forward and if you're going to do something do it to its full expression.

A lot of her influence comes from living in Mexico, protest, movies, and the day to day. During her college career at Massasoit as a Fine Artist, she found her true passion as a painter. Already having a playful outlook on the world, she became immersed in the fluidity and freedom that came with painting. Much of her inspiration translates to the canvas in rich texture and vibrancy. In all of this she found her artist's name, VidasRaw.

Echale ganas!

You ever take a deep breath and feel it deepen you? That smooth exhale that happens a moment after and within that we find raw life. Vidasraw translates to exactly that. Through color, purpose, and texture Lindsay is able to shed light and bring to life whatever it may be.

Color, purpose, and texture.

Pure Enlightenment

Growing up in a Mexican household taught her to hold her roots close and to always be vibrant. In Lindsay's many works of art you will see black and brown activists, artists, and landscapes done in a very abstract way. She pushes the norm and lends her iridescent glasses to all, allowing us to take a deeper look at what's before us. Vidasraw is pure enlightenment.

Lindsay has exhibited her paintings at Enso Gallery, RAWArtists Boston, Impeccable Art Gallery, Brockton Mag, and more. In recent years she has had the honor to mentor students at the YMCA creating a collaborative mural on canvas. The student’s got to experiment with textures and think outside of the box. She digitized student artwork that spoke out against gun violence and its effects on our community.

Fun Fact :

In June of 2020 Lindsay, along side other artist created Power of Art. POA was created by artists who were fueled by the injustices that had been on the rise. Artists are here to provide the future with images that reflect our current times. Their mission was to express their protest toward the social injustices of the world through various art mediums while simultaneously uplifting and educating our community!
